Our Corporate Design - NEW : HENKELHIEDL

The logo or icon / sign of the Keativagentur HENKELHIEDL in all colour combinations of the corporate design from the beginning of 2021

New year, new corporate design. New website. Everything seems different and yet remains as it always was: changeable.

Reinventing oneself is not easy. To go through such an essential process from within is always a challenge. (Which, of course, we advise everyone else not to do, so ask us instead).

Before we get to the details, we would like to take this opportunity to publicly send a big Merci to all those who have helped internally and read along. 1000 thanks! It's your job, yes. But it turned out well because hopefully it was - and is - more than just any job. Being able to rely on a team in challenging times is worth more than the accurate choice of fonts, colours, words, div blocks, CSS & Co.

The past year was a difficult one for everyone. We lost regular meetings, but gained a lot of new clients and realised many projects.

The way in which we, as an office, as a team, not only mastered 2020, but in the end successfully shaped it, was proof that there are three qualities above all that lie dormant in HENKELHIEDL : the desire for constant further development (evolution), the willingness to search for and find the best result in the context of the most diverse initial situations (added value) and not to forget passion in the face of all difficulties (enthusiasm). Which brings us to the topic.

NEW CORPORATE DESIGN AND WEBSITE.

In the course of the year, we also developed our new corporate design, about which we have lost a few (More) words.

A website is, of course, the lighthouse project of this endeavour in the context of its own visual reinvention. The bar was set high. For one, two, three years more than we thought, we have been running an extraordinary site, formerly conceived more as an experiment. Its core was a »talking« search field, excessive keywording and the individual design of all detail pages. Launched in 2015, we even developed a WYSIWYG editor ourselves for this unusual core idea of an agency (which is not a highly financed tech start-up). Crazy. Crazy good.

What could be more obvious than to use the relaunch six years later to think further about the idea of yesteryear? We decided to put one of the tools through its paces, which in recent years has made the principle of »visual coding« into a business model as Software as a Service: Webflow.

NEW STRUCTURE.

  • Homepage : »HENKELHIEDL in a nutshell«, not just a best-of of the subpages. We even dared to name what kind of agency we (also) are. Strategy consultancy? Design agency? Development agency? Content agency? Digital thing? Yes. Or in other words: we are a creative agency. Full stop. (Colon, of course.)
  • About usWhat was and what will be, that's what we tell you here. But also why, for whom and in which different constructs: Extended workbench, sparring partner, project office. This was and is not clear to everyone. Which is why this topic is actually on the homepage and here twice.
  • Competencies: What exactly do you do? And how? All trades provide answers to this question in a kind of "RRS" instead of "FAQ". In other words, via "regularly revised statements", regarding our understanding of Strategy, Concept, Content, Design, Development andProject Management. Work in progress by nature.
  • TeamWe show our faces, for the first time - and even in motion! If we meet less and less often in the world, then here in the Interworld. Hello, beckoned!
  • Projects: I don't know if anyone can imagine how time-consuming it is to squeeze all of Freestyle's content into a template corset from a site that only has individual detail pages, despite the best possible rocket science. We have definitely made an effort and will continue to do so. The list will continue to grow. After all, it is our digital legacy/memory.
  • JobsWe also have something to offer.
  • News(letter): No HENKELHIEDL website without the one »slightly different idea«. This one goes like this: Instead of a news section that gets orphaned over time, instead of a newsletter whose dispatch is regularly-irregularly forgotten, we have increased the pressure internally and combined the two. From now on, all e-roundmail issues will land monthly in the recipients' inboxes and archived in this place. This creates a collection of all important news. For all the even faster-moving information, there is also the so-called social media. Us in the middle. At this point. Here. There. There too.
  • ContactSeriously? We're going to tell you to click on a contact page? Yes, because we have grown spatially in 2020. There are now three different ways to get to us. That's where orientation is needed. And we very much hope that visitation can soon be an issue again, even beyond shaky videos. Until then, you can also find our fax number here. Better safe than sorry.

NEW.

As a bonus, the »Superfooter« (as we call it) should be mentioned. If only because the person typing these lines has recently developed a kind of fetish. No, not feet, but the fight against loveless end-of-page elements on websites. That's why our footer in each template shows a kind of individual vertical treadmill for continuing links. This may irritate, but hopefully also stimulate.

EVERYTHING BECAME, BECOMES AND REMAINS NEW.

This website will never be »finished« per se, it will constantly evolve. Just as it should be for a digital project. Don't worry, we will take screenshots for documentation. But we also look forward to regular review visits.

Oh yes, our name remains the same, but everything else is different here too. Time to make a colon. It's been almost 15 months, but we haven't communicated it properly yet: Hello Uwe Viehmann as partner and managing director, of course together with founder Andreas Henkel . ..
