Did someone say »paint it colourful«? Don't you dare!

HENKELHIEDL was founded by two designers. Our heart has always beaten for individual and sophisticated communication. We do not stand for a specific design »signature«, but for diversity and a design that suits our clients and their target groups. The collection of implemented projects proves visually what is described here in words.

Design is our DNA - it is important to search for, find and work out what is special in each project.

We need individual design solutions.

Design is the visible part, but also a way of thinking, functionality and perception. We can only achieve this by teams working together that combine experience, taste and different competences. And by teams we don't just mean the internal ones, but the team company/institution : HENKELHIEDL. In times of templates and logo development-to-go, it's about time, visual communication has to get out of the one-size-fits-all again!

Visual communication has many names today.

CI, CD, UX, UI, brand as sender, brand as receiver ... Visual communication is more diverse and demanding than ever. Today, the general appearance of a company, organisation or institution lives not only on a website, in annual reports, stationery, the logo above the entrance to the head office, but on umpteen channels in many variations. The cycles of adaptation are becoming shorter, the necessary flexibility greater - adaptation yes, compromise no.

We deal with the following topics, regardless of whether it is a corporate group, a cultural institution or a solo enterprise next door.

Design is the basis for everything you see and experience.

The implementation of a corporate design in all communication measures of a brand is the basis for holistic communication. The aim is to provide the brand's customers with a perfect user experience across all touchpoints. Not always the same - but equally.

We build a brand from the following toolbox:

  • Logo design
  • Typography
  • Colour concepts
  • Visual language
  • Illustrations & Icons
  • Animations & Motion Design
  • Keyvisual
  • Template creation
  • Style guide
  • Design systems
  • Brand Management Systems

Brand communication, brand experience, corporate design - what you see is what you get.

A strong corporate identity (CI) is the unmistakable fingerprint of a company in all communication channels and in the way the company and its employees appear. For this we need a clear brand strategy, which we develop as a corporate design (CD) in a modular design system and make visible in all communication measures.

The following topics are essential for this:

  • Cross-media campaigns
  • Editorial Design/Print
  • Fair trades/room installations
  • Social media
  • Blogs/landing pages
  • Websites/Microsites
  • Infographics and data visualisation
  • Newsletter

UX/UI - can you feel it?

Digital communication aims at interaction via a coherent user interface (UI) and is thought of and developed differently than classic campaigns/products. In order to design the user experience (UX) in such a user-centred and optimal way, we need to work more closely and methodically with our customers.

We achieve this goal in the following process steps:

  • Workshops
  • Research
  • Design Sprints
  • User Journeys and Stories
  • Wireframes
  • Prototyping
  • Mockups
  • Usability Tests
