Jobs

We think in terms of projects, not repetitive tasks and processes. This means varied topics and inspiring exchange in ever new teams. We love diversity: designers work conceptually, programmers think design-oriented, conceptual designers help in project management. Hybrid working is our standard. An office with a lot of spatial flexibility forms the basis for this. Not those who work long hours in the evening, but those who like to start in the morning have our appreciation. You, us: HENKELHIEDL?!

Development

Front-end web developer

As part of our dev team, you will work with your colleagues from content, design, conception, and project management on exciting projects for our customers. You will implement finished designs and optimize them for all end devices, but you may also contribute your own ideas for exciting UX elements.

What you should bring with you:

  • Core stack: You have extensive experience in designing and developing modern web applications and are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Framework love: You feel at home with Nuxt and VueJs in the frontend.
  • Quality standards: You work according to clean code principles and develop structured, reusable UI components.
  • Design & Access: Responsive design is standard for you, and you never lose sight of accessibility.
  • Data & APIs: You are confident in using REST APIs and have experience in creating and using data models.
  • Digital participation: Accessibility is not just a word for you, but a requirement for your work.
  • Workflow: Git is part of your daily toolkit, and you use modern AI tools smartly for your workflow.
  • Mindset: You are curious about new technologies without blindly following every trend.
  • Team spirit: You fit into our open team, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and are keen on genuine exchange.

The icing on the cake (optional):

  • You already have experience with (headless) CMS systems such as Statamic or Strapi.
  • You are familiar with setting up and maintaining Docker environments.
  • PHP and MySQL are not foreign languages to you.

It would also be important for you to have a (very) good command of spoken and written German.

If you live in Berlin or are available for a 4/5 or full-time position on site (hybrid working is possible), send us your application, salary expectations, and earliest possible start date.

Design

Communication designer (with very good knowledge of Webflow)

Do you love design and can you explain what makes good design? Do you have a university degree? Your alphabet sorts I after We? Have you gained at least three years' experience in an agency? Do you have a particular soft spot for typography and corporate design? But are you also interested in interactions and animations? UX/UI is a matter of course for you anyway (and hasn't been a bootcamp topic)? Have you always been interested in digital, web and apps?

You also have very good knowledge of Webflow and have already realized some outstanding projects with it? You also know how AI can help you to make yourself irreplaceable and not only have your heart in the right place, but also your ear to the ground?

Do you like customer contact and are you a good presenter, perhaps even interested in devising and moderating workshop formats?

Then we are looking for you, knowing full well that the requirements are high and specific. But that is our aspiration and the current reality.

If your salary expectations are just as real(istic) and you are from Berlin or can be on site at any time for a 4/5 or full-time position - although home office is of course always an option - then you should definitely get in touch with us.

It would also be important for you to have a (very) good command of written and spoken German.

PS: Speaking of us before me: Do you enjoy teamwork, working with other designers to improve your own and their work, helping to shape the agency's visual language and still see yourself as willing to learn? Great, because we're not looking for a classic AD.

Project management

Project manager

Do you have a passion for design and digital projects, which you understand both technically and conceptually? Do you keep track of everything and pay attention to deadlines? And costs? And quality? Are you a pleasant person who treats others the same way? Is that why others like you, for all the right reasons? Because you don't conform unnecessarily?

Then we are looking for you: an organized individual who enjoys customer contact and feels at home in a world of strategy, design, and technology development.

Your tasks:

  • Management and implementation of customer projects with interdisciplinary teams
  • Contact with our customers
  • General organisational tasks
  • Analysis and control of releases and priorities
  • Strategic advice and customer care
  • Quotation preparation
  • Budget planning and control
  • Conduct workshops
  • Project management and capacity planning
  • Project controlling
  • Product Ownership

Actually, it is much, much more, sometimes less, quite different and thus exactly how one imagines working life in an agency to be. Did we say agency? Quite often we don't see ourselves as an agency at all, and that's why things turn out quite differently for you in the end anyway.

Interesting? Great.

The following qualifications would be desirable:

  • A high affinity for design and digital culture
  • Experience with complex design, digital and/or communication projects
  • Security when using office and content management systems – digital tools in general (Slack, GSuite, Jira/awork, Webflow/Statamic)
  • Possibly even experience in social media and campaigns
  • Very good written and spoken German, good written and spoken English
  • A high degree of initiative and social competence
  • Ideally, you should have at least 1–3 years of professional experience in a similar environment.

You don't have to be able to tick every box and meet every requirement. What's important is – how do you say it? – the overall package. Don't be afraid to leave some gaps! We're looking for someone to fill a permanent position. A 40-hour week would be great, but we're open to other models. We work hybrid, but we'd be happy if you're based in Berlin and can be in the office often.

Start date: early February at the latest.

That sounds good, and you would like to join our team? Then we look forward to receiving your application in German, including your resume and realistic salary expectations for an agency of our size. Thank you.

Content

Internship Content / Concept

Do you love variety, quickly get to grips with unfamiliar topics and know how to separate the important from the worthless when researching? Do you write texts for the web with a relaxed hand - informative, entertaining and to the point? Do you also have conceptual ideas that you would like to contribute?

We offer an internship in the area of content and conception. As part of a team of designers and editors, you will be involved in conceptual work, but will certainly also have text tasks. You will get to know the processes in our projects, work with different CMS and use typical agency team software. An internship with us usually lasts three to six months and is paid monthly.

That sounds good and you would like to join us? Then we look forward to hearing from you. We look forward to receiving your application, as long as it is a mandatory internship (!) .

Internship Design

A pixel here, a pixel there, a bit of green on the side, with web fonts or special? Do you have a very good feel for typography, new technologies and design in general - and do you know how to use this in the context of predominantly digital projects?

We offer an internship as part of a mandatory internship in the field of design to work with you on great projects - as part of a team, that's important to us and not just an empty phrase. Despite hybrid work opportunities, it is actually important if you can generally be on site here in Berlin. An internship with us usually lasts between three and six months and is paid monthly.

The topic of digital should actually be particularly important to you. We know that a degree requires versatility, for example, but 80% of our projects take place on the web and in apps. A corresponding passion would therefore be a clear advantage, not to say mandatory. Figma > Adobe.

We look forward to receiving your application, as long as it is a mandatory internship (!) .

PS: The next possible start date for us is currently from February/March 2026!
