The construction site by Erfurt’s central station was inconvenient for travelers - they had to put up with long detours alongside timber fences to get to the next platform.
PROJEKTBÜRO embellished the construction site with painted pine boards along the tracks, and with information and peepholes for both young and old pedestrians.
In the front area, big landscape paintings were installed to create anticipation about the new traveling experience. They displayed quotes of prominent Erfurt citizens and readers of the Thüringer Allgemeine Zeitung, declaring where they will travel once the station is finished.
