city.WLAN made easy in Schwerin
Stadtwerke Schwerin also operates a city-wide WLAN infrastructure. We provided strategic, advisory and operational support in the process of the corresponding app development – with conception and design.
Stadtwerke Schwerin is not only responsible for the infrastructure in the areas of electricity, water and gas, but also very successfully operates the expansion of telecommunications services for its home city. A new app is now intended to emphasize this aspect. It is not only intended to create a valuable service for the citizens of the city, but also to strengthen its own brand as a digital service provider.
In Schwerin, free high-speed WLAN is available in public places. In addition, mobile internet is available in all buses and trains of Schweriner Nahverkehr GmbH.
With the support of this free Wi-Fi offer, the app now launches with a simple use case.
We were commissioned for the concept and design. After a first workshop, a rough concept for the application and a design guideline were elaborated, defining how the results should be developed and implemented.
